Transparency

In connection with the use of public funds, publicity of the use of public property and making them more transparent (Law on Transparency), Law 38 of 1992 on national budget has been modified.
According to regulations worded in Paragraph 15/B. of this law, contracts, the value of which reaches or surpasses net HUF 5 million, must be published, with a compulsory data content, within sixty days following the signing of the contract.

Change in the Law on national budget was followed by a modification of Government Decree 217/1998. (30/12) on the operational order of national budget. Appendix 22 to this decree gives a list of data of public interest which are compulsory to be published.
