Hungarian Book Review is a quarterly periodical of book and press history published by the Hungarian Academy of Sciences and National Széchényi Library.
It was first published in 1 March 1876 by the Library of Hungarian National Museum as the first Hungarian periodical of library science and one of the first ones of this sort worldwide. The issues include studies on bibliography and book history, with an outlook to the news of the profession in Hungary and abroad.
