„We Still Need Mohács…”

This volume of the edited and enhanced material of the research conference held on 29 August 2015 at National Széchényi Library is a joint publication of NSZL and the Research Centre for the Humanities of the Hungarian Academy of Sciences. More than 300 pages are dedicated to the interdisciplinary study of the importance and consequences of the Battle of Mohács and the controversial death and funeral of King Louis II. of Hungary.

The present work edited by Farkas Gábor Farkas, Zsolt Szebelédi and Bernadett Varga is recommended to all Hungarians interested in one of the crucial turning points of our history, the Battle of Mohács, and the following Ottoman occupation.
