Published jointly by NSZL and Kriterion Publishing House, the first two volumes of the Collected Works of Aladár Kuncz were presented in Transylvania. The books – Fekete kolostor (Black Monastery) and Egy márványdarab (A Piece of Marble) –were presented last weekend by the editors of the volume series, literary historian László Boka and historian of ideas Tamás Gusztáv File, who were joined by Gyula H. Szabó, Director of Kriterion Publishing House, and literary historian Éva Jeney.
The book presentation in Nagyvárad (Orodea) was part of a program series of the Fourth Season of local festival entitled Holnap után (The Day after Tomorrow), and it took place in the studio hall of Orodea-based Szigliget Theater on April 7, 2016. After that, book presentations were held in the Municipal Library of Székelyudvarhely and also in Marosvásárhely and Nagyenyed.
The third volume of the series, Felleg a város felett (Cloud over the City) edited by Andrea Juhász, is scheduled to be published jointly by the two publishers in May, 2016. Included for the general public in this volume is a collection of manuscripts, so far unpublished, which was recently discovered in the Manuscript Collection of National Széchényi Library.
