Dear Readers and Visitors,

On 17-18 February 2025 (Monday-Tuesday) the following restrictions are expected in the Castle area.

 

17 February 2025 (Monday)

  • between 15.30-16.15 there will be a traffic and pedestrian restriction in the Szent György Street area.

18 February 2025 (Tuesday)

  • Between 09.45-14.00 Szent György Street will be closed to traffic from Dísz Square to Hunyadi Yard.

  • From 13.00 until late evening, the Csikós yard will be closed, including the Tabán elevators and the Stöckl staircase. During this period, no pedestrian traffic will be allowed in the affected areas and access to the Castle Garage II is possible via the entrance from the Hollós (Koldus) Gate.

  • Between 13.00-14.00 the library can only be accessed via the route Hunyadi udvar - Savoyai terasz - Várkert Bazár.
