Service servers, new monitors and wifi development

As a final phase of computer network development in National Széchényi Library, our old central network devices will be replaced by new ones. Due to the replacement, our internet services, including the online catalog, thematic websites, LIBINFO, etc., will not be available on Sunday September 11, 2016.

During the summer closure, all of the monitors in the reading rooms of NSZL were replaced by new ones. At the same time, our broken down computers and other IT devices were replaced by operating ones. Due to new network devices and wifi development, wifi is much more widely available in the building. Wifi access is provided, for example, at the main entrance, in the buffet and in the territory of the Ceremonial Hall on Floor 6 and in the Boardroom on Floor 5.
