NSZL received Hungarian Heritage Award

Hungarian Heritage Award Committee of the Hungarian Heritage and Europe Society (Magyar Örökség és Európa Egyesület) granted Hungarian Heritage Award  (Magyar Örökség Díj) to the Restoration Laboratory of NSZL for its parchment codex restoration process.

The award will be received by Ildikó Beöthy-Kozocsa and Marianne Érdi in the Ceremonial Hall of the Hungarian Academy of Sciences on March 25, 2017. Laudation will be given by Beatrix Kastaly.

We highly esteem the work of each and every restorer who took part (some 25-30 years ago) in the Corvina Program. The parchment casting technique developed by them has been used ever since all over the world.
