Extraordinary measure

Dear Readers and Visitors!

In line with Government Decree No. 484/2020 (XI. 10.), National Széchényi Library has suspended indefinitely its personally available public services as of Wednesday November 11, 2020. During this period, our reading rooms will be closed and all the events involving personal attendance will be cancelled.

We would like to inform our partners that the takeover of legal deposit copies and the allocation of international publication identifiers (ISBN, ISMN and ISSN numbers) will continue to operate uninterruptedly.

We recommend you our online thematic services and the content provided by Fotótér (Photo Space), Földabrosz (Earth Cloth), Plakáttár (Poster Archive),  Régi Ritka metszetgyűjtemény (Old Rare Engravings Collection) and the Hungarian Electronic Library.

Although the reading rooms will temporarily be closed for visitors, registered readers of National Széchényi Library will have remote access to some of the subscribed databases of NSZL. If you want to use this service, please, submit your e-mail address at inform@oszk.hu.

EduID access will be available in case of the following databases:
