Cooperation with the National Library of Turkey

As a member of the Hungarian Prime Minister’s delegation, Director-General of NSZL Dr. László Tüske visited Ankara at the end of June 2017. During this visit, he met Zülfi Toman, Director of the National Library of Turkey, and they signed a memorandum of understanding on cooperation. This may open a new chapter in the relations between the two institutions, and thereby between the Hungarian and Turkish collections and researchers. Turkish research fellows are likely to arrive in Hungary as early as fall 2017, in order to start academic cooperation with the experts of National Széchényi Library.
