Cooperation agreement between Pázmány Péter Catholic University and NSZL

On December 5, 2018, Director-General of National Széchényi Library (NSZL) László Tüske and Szabolcs Szuromi Anzelm OPraem, Rector of Pázmány Péter Catholic University (PPCU) signed a cooperation agreement in Buda Royal Palace.

Both the head of NSZL and PPCU emphasized the importance of the preservation of surviving items of eternally valuable manuscript book culture, as well as of the professional processing and research of these materials, of the quality providing of precise and state-of-the-art help supporting knowledge transfer.

To achieve these goals, National Széchényi Library and PPCU's International Canon Law History Research Center undertook that, in the framework of the cooperation agreement, they would make openly available the knowledge generated by the professional processing of medieval canon law source and science history of canon law in the form of catalogs, scientific publications, online dissemination and events (Hungarian and international exhibitions and symposiums) in Hungarian as well as in other languages.
