This year, the annual seminar and professional conference of the Consortium of European Research Libraries (CERL) will take place in Amsterdam, on October 26-27.
Theme of the seminar will be ‘Putting it together: Research Access for Hybrid Collections’. On the first day, a professional conference will be held in the recently completely refurbished Rijksmuseum (also keeping a precious library collection), focusing on the complex issue of researchable hybrid collections, i.e. collections including library, archival and museum collections, and that of the publication of research results. The second day will be devoted to the annual general meeting of CERL hosted by the University of Amsterdam, also famous for its valuable special collections.
Also representing 15 Hungarian church libraries in the cluster system, National Széchényi Library has been a prominent member of CERL for years now. Our Library is represented by Dr. László Boka, Director of Research and Academic Affairs at the event.
