In cooperation with other libraries, the Hungarian national library is currently working on the renewal of its complete IT infrastructure and on the renewal of the library systems. Related to that, NSZL makes efforts to get acquainted with international trends and with the already existing best practices and solutions.
In the framework of a renewal process, we have organized several presentations in NSZL, which were recoded and published in Videotorium – e.g. presentations on topics including integrated library systems, digitization and web harvesting.
On December 18, 2017, Slovak company Tempest will present its solutions that can be interesting for the Hungarian library community. Slovak experience gained in major fields, such as long-term preservation, digitization, web harvesting and digital library will be shared with the audience. You and friends are cordially invited to the presentation!
Date: Monday December 18, 2017, from 9 a.m. until 5 p.m.
Venue: Ceremonial Hall of National Széchényi Library
Wing "F" of Buda Royal Palace, 4–5–6 Szent György Square, H-1014 Budapest
