The fourth volume of book series entitled Res Libraria, written by art historian Emese Révész under the title Image, press, history. Illustrated press in Hungary between 1850 and 1870, will be presented on April 6, 2016, at 4.30 p.m. in National Széchényi Library.
The volume was published jointly by National Széchényi Library, HAS-NSZL Res Libraria Hungariae Research Group and Argumentum Publishing House.
Welcome speech will be delivered by László Boka, literary historian, Director of Research and Academic Affairs (NSZL).
The book will be presented by historian, academician Gábor Gyáni (HAS-Research Center for the Humanities, Institute of History) and art historian Miklós Peternák (Hungarian University of Fine Arts).
Participating in the event will be art historian Emese Révész (Hungarian University of Fine Arts), editor of the volume, historian Dorottya Lipták (HAS-NSZL Res Libraria Research Group) and publisher’s reader, art historian Gabriella Szvoboda-Dománszky (Eszterháza Centre for Culture, Research and Festivals).
