On 13 May 2023, the national library will host an open day on the occasion of the Family Day and Memorial Day. Our all-day series of events will offer activities for every member of the family to enjoy on a Saturday at the library.
On our guided building tours, you can learn about the fascinating history of the library building and even find parts of the building that still preserve a small part of the original royal palace.
In the handicraft workshop, families can play with Gondosdesign's giant jigsaw puzzles, make bookmarks and fridge magnets from well-known posters and photos from our library collections. There will also be bookmaking workshop and multi-layered 3D picture creation with animal and vehicle graphics, drawing and other handicraft activities.
All ages are welcome to our fun and creative open day on Saturday 13 May from 10:00 to 18:00 at the NSZL, in the Palace of Buda Castle, Building F!
