Diversity of the restorer profession – professional day

On Monday March 26, 2018, National Széchényi Library will be waiting for those interested in the restorer profession with two book restorers’ presentations and a book presentation ceremony. Gyula Gajdó will discuss bleaching, an issue highly sensitive in professional circles, while Andrea Vilcsek’s lecture will present book bindings of the period of book printing, from the beginnings until the Industrial Revolution, based on Nicholas Pickwoad’s course on the history of bookbinding.
