A volume of essays entitled Ha szabad így mondanom (If I May Say So) by András Udvarhelyi will be presented in the Ceremonial Hall of NSZL at 5 p.m. on September 22, 2016, on György Faludy’s birthday.
Kossuth Prize-winning poet György Faludy (1910–2006) was a helping member of Csongrád Literary Workshop, founded more than 45 years ago. That is why the Workshop was named after the eminent poet, and his birthday is celebrated by a festivity every year on September 22.
This year, the festivity will be held by Csongrád Literary Workshop in cooperation with the Society of Hungarian Literary History and the Theater Collection of National Széchényi Library. The event will take place in the Ceremonial Hall of NSZL, where a volume of essays entitled Ha szabad így mondanom (If I May Say So) by author and journalist András Udvarhelyi will be presented. The book is about György Faludy’s lovers, friends and roles.
Contributors will be Ildikó Sirató, literary historian, head of NSZL’s Theater Collection, János Góg, Gyula Juhász Award-winning poet, head of the Workshop, actor Miklós Turek and musician László Csák.
