The 6th grade students of Szentendre-based József Barcsay Elementary School have won our short film competition announced in October 2017.
National Széchényi Library currently subscribes to three services of Akadémiai Kiadó, namely, the journals and dictionaries packages and the so-called MeRSZ, which provides Library users with an unlimited access to the full text of Hungarian and foreign-language journals included in these packages, to dictionaries published by the Kiadó, as well as to the continuously expanding electronic collection of basic and reference books.
The series entitled Orientalists in NSZL will be continued with a lecture by Mária Ivanics.
On the occasion of the Day of Hungarian Culture, National Széchényi Library will offer a 50 percent discount from its annual registration fee on Friday January 19 and Saturday January 20, 2018.
A volume of literary criticism authored by our colleague Beatrix Visy will be presented in Kelet Kult – Irodalmi & Science Café on January 17, 2018. The event will start at 6 p.m.; the venue is located at 29 Bartók Béla Street, Budapest.
